Song Parodies -> "Avril H8er"

Original Song Title:

"Henry the Eighth"

Original Performer:

Herman's Hermits

Parody Song Title:

"Avril H8er"

Parody Written by:

MooRocca

The Lyrics

I'm-a h8er and I'm lame, I am
Jealous of her fame, I am, I am
Dressed just like her, when she wasn't yet born
She's so rebel, I was... just a dork
I'm Avril L's worstest enemy (enemy!)
You know I'm even jealous of her fans (of her fans!)
I'm a jealous h8er wannabe
P'thetic little waste, I am.

Second verse, lame as the first!

(Repeat first verse until someone makes you stop -- because... duh... the more times you repeat yourself, the more intelligent you sound.)

Melhi - October 20, 2003 - Report this comment
Believe it, Claude! Herman's such a poser... that's not even his real name and he isn't a bit punk! So there! (Seriously, thanks for the read & rate. I came really close to using the monkey room for this one.)

The only thing I can do is give 5's for this...incredably amazing job Melhi...but I must say two things, one, the lead singer of Hermans hermits was Peter Noone, and two, so you dressed like here before she was born? I assume you are a Annie Hall fan then lol (how come no one other than me has made that connection)..oh, and Melhi, check out my Parody about Avril called "A Bunch of Avril Wannabes"

Nice job. And I'm not just saying that 'cause I've written my own h8-da-h8ers parodies.

Thanks Billy and Michael!
Michael, if you give me titles, I'll go make sure I haven't missed them, before. Billy: I do know who Peter Noone is, but I don't know who Annie Hall is. I experimented with lots of different looks, back then. The shirt and tie look (which is what Avril was wearing in the only pic of her I can remember seeing) was one of them and was probably my interpretation of new wave or somesuch. I'm pretty sure I've already High Fived "Bunch of Avril Wannabe"s, but I'll go make sure.

Melhi's such a h8er. Guess I have to r8er. So it don't frustr8er.

Nice observation from Billy, too. Annie Hall is Diane Keaton's titular character in the Woody Allen movie. (Heh, heh - I said "titular.") She also dressed just like Avril when Avril wasn't yet born.

Melhi - Excellent! You tied this one up in a neat knot. Loved some of the comments above...I waded into a couple of "Avril" parodies since I'm familiar with her album (I actually bought it and like all but one song on it), voted and then went to comment and noticed they all sounded exactly like what Claude says above (non-capitalized format, syntax, and everything). Gonna try and catch up on more of your stuff in the next couple days. I think I was gonna sign off about a half hour ago and decided to look at one more thing. That was about 6 things ago. For real...good night this time!!!

Hey thanks, Paul! (Ahhh, a case of "just one more parody and then I'll call it a night" syndrome. I know it well. :) )

I'm not a h8er. So I'll probably vote 4-2-2.
