"There's a Guy Named Huck"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

There's a guy named Huck,
Not Finn, his worldview ain't right.
In his mouth foot hurls, then out comes sound;
He's kind of a dunce,
Goon: Gomer-guy mien.

Just a toothy shmuck,
A gnome, but he sells far right
Who've nobody else and think Gomer's good,
But he ain't too bright.

So listen very carefully,
He blabs erroneously;
Then his team says,
"What he did mean. . . ."

The bonehead sounds that you will hear
Must then by his flacks be made clear.
Could Dubya, the dense, be more clever?

There's a guy named Huck;
His view of the world ain't right
The world's only four thousand years young;
He ain't erudite

We listen for mendacity
But hear mental laxity:
Huck ain't keen
Up there in the bean.

This drone makes sounds that we must hear
Because election time's near
So to "heart" Huckabee? That's never.

There's a guy named Huck;
And those in his world think White
House; fantasy world will go right down
When he gets the shove
When the real world shows up
At the polls. . .gives the shove
To the Huckster. . .no love.
Shmuck.

Nice work. I agree with your politics, John. To think Mitt and Huck are being said to be the leading Republican choices...so sad.

Huckabee's problem isn't that he's got a tin ear, which is not the same as being dumb. But if you don't know how to properly use whatever brains you have, the effect is the same. But you don't have that problem, John, so I put a five on you.

That should read his problem IS that he's got a tin ear. Sorry, John.

Well, give him a break. He comes from the same state as Bill Clinton. As for my politics, I consider Huckabee and Thompson the least of GOP evils and less evil than either Hellary or Barack Oh-mama, but I am far from a captive fan. I'd support Ron Paul if I thought he had a realistic chance of winning.

Nice game of "Huck-a-Pluck" here

Michael McVey, Huckabee less evil from GOP??? You know I respect you and all, but did you not hear his comments about HIV Isolation? I mean, He not only made the comment in 1992---but he refuses to recant it now in 2007. He's an extremist at best--and a very disturbed individual at worst. . .in my opinion he is the WORST contender in the GOP, he frankly scares the living s##t out of me.

I'm sure this is magnificent, John...but I don't know the Huck in question, and don't follow US politics, so I'll have to pass on voting for this one

Thanks, IB, Alvin, MIchaels, AFW, Dave, Kristof (you're right--it is magnificent).

Good job... although I find Romney even scarier than Huckabee. At least Huckabee has a conscience. Romney is like Cheney.... evil...

well Huckabee puts his personal wealth down at between $400,000 and $700,000 - compared with Mitt's 250 million - if that's not a grab for a slice of the Democratic vote, then I was born yesterday (I was gonna use "came down in the last rainshower" but Australia hasn't had one since the Iran hostage crisis) - 555

What's scary is that slick Willy could possibly be re-tuning the White House again. They are still scrapping the gunk off the walls after his departure in 2000. - Well, we see that a black man has the biggest caucus in Iowa so I guess Hill isn't really hiding much under her skirt - at least not in Iowa. To quote some dialog from an NCIS episode where Kate Todd said to Jethro Gibbs, "Like some species of frogs I can grow what I need when the need arises" I would surmise that Hill will evolve when she has to but she had no cojones in Iowa.

Bush is smarter (and a more pleasant conversationalist) than every one of the front-runners in the race, as well as those dead-lasters Paul and Kucinich. Unless Fred Thompson gets in (and he probably won't) everyone will be wishing within a month of the inauguration that Bush could have had a third term. On the bright side, Washington D.C. will probably get nuked within the year, rendering the election results a moot point.

Great syllable-matching to the OS.
