After all, those police sketches look nothing like David Berkowitz, as you can see if you're watching the miniseries "The Bronx Is Burning" on ESPN. Some summer in New York: It hit 104 degrees on July 6, the blackout and looting on July 13, and the five-way Mayoral tussle between Abe Beame, Ed Koch, Mario Cuomo, Herman Badillo and Bella Abzug. And, through it all, somehow, the Yankees built a World Series winner.
