The Lyrics

The US Internal Revenue Service has been caught giving unequal treatment to applicants for tax exemptions. Its acting head will fall on the sword to save politicians. Read the lyrics or watch and listen to TOS.
BHO shook up IRS,
Frowned on K Street USA.
Was he not there?
When did he see
Abuse of Americans' 5-O-1(c)?

IRS may pre-empt
Groups who seek "tax-exempt."

If your name's "Patriot"
Or "Tea Par-ty" you're not!

"9/12 Pro-ject" is worst;
On that day, we sang "America first!"

Final "LBJ" in TOS is sung as "eh-eh-el bee-ee-ee jay."

In the final line, "pledge" rather than "sang" recalls how all of Congress stood together on the Capitol steps on September 12, 2001. Why not since?

I should have changed TOS's "4th Street USA" to "K Street's new-found sway" to reflect the 2010 Supreme Court decision in Citizens United, unleashing political donors to lobbies.
