Parody Song Title:

"Canadian Quarter"

Parody Written by:

Billy Florio

This is one of my worst parodies ever....its awful..I rushed it, plus I'm having a bad case of writers block (is there ever a good case?) This is of course about the fustration of finding that when you were given change, you received a canadian quarter...Canadian quarters are not legal tenders in America (and are not suppose to be accepted)..anyway, I over dramatized, but whatever...Wish those damn quarters would stay in there own country! Them and the damn geese! anyway, the canadian quarter has the head of a deer on one side, and Queen Elizabeth the II on the other...alright
Canadian quarter, stay away from me
Canadian quarter, worse than a penny
Please stop ending up in my change
I might as well throw you down the drain
Why don't you tell me what I should do
Cause I have got no-a use for you
Now quarter, stay away
Canadian quarter, with this I cant pay

Canadian quarter, get away from me
Canadian quarter, worse than a penny
Please stop ending up in my change
I might as well just throw you down the drain

With this coin, stuff I cant buy
The Queens money just wont fly
Now Quarter, get away
Canadian quarter, with this I cant pay-ay

Canadian quarter, said get away
Canadian Quarter, With this I cant pay
Please stop ending up in my change
I might as well throw you down the drain
I don't need your pics of deer
I don't need that Queen on rear

With this coin, stuff I cant buy
The Queens money just wont fly
Now Quarter, get away
Canadian quarter, with this I cant pay-ay

Canadian quarter, stay away from me
Canadian quarter, worse than a penny
You gotta go, You gotta get away
Quarter, you gotta go
I'm not paying
Well, I cant use you quarter
Well, I cant use you quarter
Well, I cant use you quarter
Well, I cant use you quarter
un kind, un kind, un kind, un kind
(Canadian Quarter) You're no good to me
Nothing is bought by you
(Canadian quarter) I'll throw you right in the trash
Cause there is nothing I can do
You know you better leave, You know you better go
You know you better leave
You better leave me quarter,
Goodbye Canadian quarter

Wow, Im impressed. This one is doing better than some of my better ones lol

I thought this one was pretty good, flipping OVER a coin. Only the Queen is the "head," and the deer is the "tail." Regardless, it's still worth only 16 cents US (as of 2/12/03).

Billy, I don't see what's so bad about the parody

I finally figured out what's wrong with Canadian quarters: Some of the people who mint and earn them are FRENCH Canadians! Auggggh! The French! (Juste pour rire, mon amis Quebecois! Just for laughs, my Quebec friends!)

You think the Canadian quarter is funny? I'll let you in on a Canadian joke: the two-dollar coin (called the toonie) has a picture of a polar bear on the front and the Queen on the back. So it's a picture of the Queen with a bear behind. Get it? Bear / bare? Not a hilarious joke, but it's ours.

It's great! Especially for those of us who are numismatically inclined...And just for accuracy, it's a moose on the back, not a deer.

Cute Parody. And to set The Record Straight..... It's NOT a Deer It's NOT a Moose It is a Caribou!

It's funny how you don't like our Canadian quarters but you use a Canadian band's song to do your parody.
