Original Song Title:

"Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying"

Original Performer:

Gerry And The Pacemakers

Parody Song Title:

"Don't Let Will Tong Catch You Lying"

Parody Written by:

Malcolm Higgins

The Lyrics

don't let Will tong, catch you lying
the left will wail for years
give them a break tonight
and remember stay on the right
don't let Will Tong catch you lying

the weapons have just disappeared
and now we'll get the gears
the left unveils their ploy
to every girl and boy
don't let Will Tong catch you lying

although lying's not a bad thing
clinton did the same thing

they may be hard to uncover
say the ship has lost it's rudder
but politico's are game
re elections, we will win the west again
but don't let Bill Tong catch you lying

don't let Bill Tong catch you lying no no no no no

And I got yours Malcolm. So glad you allow comments. Shows the mark of a true parody writer who can defend what he says. You can also get a good idea of who is voting for you when you allow the comments section to be open. Can't tell who's voting much on those ones that don't allow comments.

yes, guy sadly my gremlin will never identify.. this is a PRO WILL TONG SONG..... don't let him catch you lying or he'll crucify you here.. I'm NEVER critical of a parody writer somebody find ONE NEGATIVE THING I HAVE WRITTEN HERE ABOUT ANYBODY. Bill Tong has his place.. I have mine.. we can laugh over a beer I'm sure both the left and the right have had their fair share of idiots at the helm, over the years.. so don't stand to close when you are watching his back, SYNC.. leave room for me to give him a pat on the back..

Liked your comment, Malk. Hey we're all fortunate to have freedom to express our opinions in an open forum. Hey sometimes we bicker about politics and religion, but at least we have a choice in the matter.

Good parody, but... Clinton did NOT do the same thing. When he lies, nobody dies. And Malcolm can laugh over A beer? Only one? That must be why he moved from Britain to Canada: Better beer. You do realize I'm just kidding, right? This WAS, after all, a good parody in my opinion. Of course, if you'd written it during the 2000 debates, you could've hit both Bush and Gore with "Don't Let the Son Catch You Sighing"!

I will be all over both slates of candidates this time around, Michael.. don't forget I wasn't here until January of this year.. I intend on slamming both sides with equal temerity as they sling their usual "vote for me" bullshit.. I was going to write another part to this answer.. but... I guess I forgot that it was there too

Malcolm, forgive my misunderstanding. It's been my experience that people who do not share Bill's views tend to bash him on parody. There have been numerous skirmishes for that very reason. I don't know the original version of this song, so I interpreted this parody as a 'bash' against my friend. Please pardon my misinterpretation, and although I can't drink a beer, how 'bout we got get us a Fanta? maybe those cute girls will show up...

deal syncro.. I don't bash others.. I make a little snide reference to them in tunes.. but bash?? never.. and fanta sounds good to me too..
