ALL BOOKED UP

Ah well I don't believe what has happened so far.
I tried to book a meal in our local bar.
The man at the other end was quite abrupt
When he said
We're all booked up.

Another time I thought we would go to a show.
I tried to find a theatre where we could go.
I called but the manager was quite abrupt
When he said
We're all booked up.

So please can you tell me what I have to do
To find a place where I can go with you.
I get frustrated everywhere I try,
But I keep getting left high and dry.

I'm worried now if I should propose to you,
To find a weekend free will be hard to do.
I bet I'd find a vicar who would be abrupt
When he says
