The Lyrics

This is *everyone* (with a recognizable nick) who has commented on TT's *own* songs from July 1, 2009, through September 6, 2009, so if anyone is feeling left out, (coughhintcough).

Two syllables in "hours", please -- the dictionary allows either one or two. Sing-along video.

So many writers, excellent, here nowadays,
Susanna, metaphorsbwithu, DJ Blaze
McKludge, Alexander, and TJC
Tim1k, blackjack; Old Man Ribber; "Don" Guy D.
John Barry, BAD Dave, too,
I'd love to write with all of you!

Alas! We've only hours: 24, each day
For eating, sleeping, writing, reading, ***k, and play [1]
To all get together would be such bliss
With Andria, Mark Scotti; not a pun, we'd miss
And Airfarcewon (and two?)
I'd love to write with all of you!

Ann Ham... ond, Michael P.
Gari J; adagi-o
alvin, Rex, Adam Eccleshall
Red Ant, Patrick, "Lee" Ke-ough

We'd be so funny!

Andy Primus, Christie M; McArthur, Stu
Jake Ralphing; Jenkins, John; and LIttleCupCakes, too
rob, Ja-son, 2Eagle, and carol brown
Medemia, Matthias, ev'ryone in town!
And Lady TaTa, "two" [2]
I'd love to write with all of you!

[Interlude: convention hall filled with loud, raucous laughter, atrocious puns, and writers ROFLTAO everywhere]

Uh-oh! Mare Gar-rel, strange names, see
NorCAL; DocM; UnKnown "VO"
I can't link to your author page
'Cause I, who you are, DK!

Meet someplace sunny!

Think of us together in convention hall
The politicians, thieves, and crooks, we'd nail them all
Won't that be a fun thing, with talent, deep?
Could kindly, folks, forget that TT brought a sheep?
Please *don't* be mad at me
'Cause one has a monopo-ly!

If days were fatter, more scattering, I'd choose
I'd love to write with all these "yous"!

[1] One hates to use dirty, four-letter words in mixed company, like (close your eyes, ladies) "work". Sorry.

[2] vs. "too" hehehe :)

Just a little extra "thanks" for those who took time out of their busy days to read and comment. Apologies to those whose names were tweaked for pacing, matching, or both.

TT - Yeah if like your parody says -

Think of us together in convention hall
The politicians, thieves, and crooks, we'd nail them all

We'd make one hell of a wrecking crew.

So glad you got M'Lady in there as well with all her aliases as well, at least the better known ones. I miss her when she is out of town and not commenting. She so sparks up the commentary with her NOR-CAL wit.

And I'm sure Adagio will thank you for including her in this as well. We knew each other online before we were writing on amiright. She just picked up her writing from me. I've been emailing Ms. Pat here of late and she is working on some new stuff so expect to see her about the site soon, I hope.

Great write here TT.

Nice roundup of the crew, TT. And what guy said about "M'Lady." Her comments are funnier than my parodies.

Very nice tribute for my daily reading list (on most days). This may be the tribute with the most authors to date. Thanks. I agree with John on comments - these are hilarious - 'M' Lady's are great and so are others. These are also well worth reading.

Nice tribute to all of us. Fives!

A turtle and a dinosaur...sounds very Cretaceous to me. Thanks for the nod. ;D

I would like to have a "Round-Up" someday, too, Sir ! right now I'm busy getting all my work done, so that I can 'disappear' for a 2-week vacation across this ~BlessedWesternLand~ of ours. Intend to depart on Sturday morn, if CowboyJim says the winds are right ! Enjoy your ~Pirates' Day oPlay~, Sir ! Tally ho . . . from you littleVo !

My sincerest thanks for adding my name to your satire! Am I ever so touched! So far, my names mentioned are from yours, Old Man Ribber, Fiddlegirl, DJ Blaze's parodies! You really made my day! And in regards about me writing parodies, I know I haven't submitted much, but I have some in the works. I don't know exactly when I'll submit them. It always takes me awhile to work hard on my parodies and I believe in spending as much time as I could. Anyways, great as always, TT! It's all good! 555!
blackjack21 - September 10, 2009 - Report this comment
Thanks for the mention. Fine way of working so many names into the trib! When you add the letters of all the names it comes up to 555. ;-)

The Encyclopedia Of AMIRIGHT, all under one convenient shell!!! LOL Great work TT!
DJ Blaze - September 10, 2009 - Report this comment
Thanks for the mention!!! That's the second one as of lately!!! And both were in the first paragraph! (The other was in Fiddlegirl's AmIRighter's Garden, though I'm sure you knew that.) Funny thing: nearly all the links were in purple because I had clicked them all before. It's cool you mentioned Madame Nor-Cal, even though she only comments and doesn't write. 555, and LONG LIVE AMIRIGHT!!!

I don't know why it is that ev'ry song you do
Just makes me want to quit my job and write with you
I'd be a quick study,
You would see!
Do anything you asked to polish parody
If wishes could come true,
I'd always get to write with you!

*Muah*!

Nice use of a great old song.

Humor, wit, and hope surely spring eternal, even in the dusty confines of our minds and in all our fields of dreams.

Thanks, everyone. *Very* long and trying w**k day, with (alas!) much left over for Friday, so please forgive not responding to each individually, and for not reading the other posts today. Hoped the parody would be its own thanks.

Timmy1000: It's certainly the one with the most authors *linked*. (The record for links is 51, but they were all to my own songs. It was my 200th-parody celebration song.)

Old Man Ribber: It's probably just because it's very late and I'm tired, but you lost me with the "dinosaur". I usually love your puns -- help the exhaustedly-challenged, please?

blackjack21: Thanks, but what I need to know is the ratio of long names to short names. (Sound familiar?) :D

DJ Blaze: No offense at all, but name placement was dictated by pacing (and, where possible, matching) to OS. No significance to the order in which names appear. Thanks!

FG: I've seen, I've seen! And it's twue, it's twue! :)

metaphorsbwithu: Nice. It wasn't until very recently, in the course of research, that I learned what a tragic life she had led all along. Check it out sometime. WPedia has it.
Blackjack21 @ Tired Turtle - September 11, 2009 - Report this comment
Familiar indeed. The count would be +2, (more short names) 2.5 decks are left in the shoe and 9 Aces have been played. Bet accordingly. ;-)

Of course I gave you 5's ,TT :)

Thanks, Guy for the solid truth. We WERE writing parodies on another site before coming here. We were both admins in an anti.neopet site.

TT - September 13, 2009 - Report this comment
I'm not fond of Barbies either (lol, haha), and it wasn't a barb. TUVM = Thank You Very Much. (Not *everything that I say -- even to adagio -- is a barb. Shock! :) :) :)
