"Fixed on Fuels"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

The saurus race was dyin’ out;
then came the extinction rout.
After they had met their doom:
Homo Sapiens surge loomed.

Then they started hangin’ out,
first on farms and then in towns.
Car’s invention came to pass;
all of those cars needed gas.

The oil needed to make long trips,
much of it sent by ships.
Then one year OPEC started to hoard—
jacked up costs for what’s on board:
ships of fuels, ships of fuels.

The deposits start dryin’ out;
a deep-digging dino rout.
People gonna meet their doom,
but nobody knows just how soon.

Drilling fuels, spilling fuels, ships of fuels…

Stored on board now.
The ships keep on sailing while there’s still time.
We’re like the dino horde, yeah.

Fixed on fuels, drilling fuels, spilling fuels, silly fools.
