Parody Song Title:

The Lyrics

Who can make Fox News actually seem "fair and balanced" in comparison? Take your pick - Time, Newsweek, the "Post Sisters" (Washington and Huffington), the three major television networks, etc. But by far, the most blatant and unapologetic is M.S.N.B.C. I've written a possible theme song for them. Note: I'm using hyphens to denote rhythm grouping/breaks breaks and the lines aren't even. ;D
We're prayin' - for a Dem win - in November
'Cause we've thrown aside - all objectivity.
For we've slanted - the news like a - party member.
In the process - we've lost our credibility.

We're in the tank - for everything - that's Obama
Like Time, Newsweek - and the big networks three.
Forget the fall - we'll stonewall - all the drama - trauma!
Because - we are M.S.N.B.C.

(Very short instrumental break)

The news and - views that we are reporting
Is designed to give - this country a leftward push.
Those "facts" - that we tell you - we're distorting.
We'll praise Obama - and always - blame all things on Bush.

We have Chris M. - and Rachel M. - and Keith O. now!
How we'll laud - this Summer Of Recovery!
And to The One - our favorite son - we will kow-tow, oh wow
Because - we are M.S.N.B.C.
We are M.S.N.B.C

Just as the administration decreed that Fox News was not "a news network the way C.N.N. is", I'm sure M.S.N.B.C. will declare that "this isn't a song because the original is almost COUNTRY(!) music." ;D

breaks breaks? Either I'm stuttering, or using something akin to the arcane C.B> radio language. ;D

Ribber, Time, and the Washington Post, and the New York Daily News, publish Charles Krauthammer's columns. The Post, Newsweek and the Chicago Tribune publish George Will. The Post also publishes James, Glassman, and William Kristol, after the New York Times fired him for lying in a column. The Times publishes David Brooks, and for 30 years had William Safire. And, of course, MSNBC, as CNN once did, has Pat Buchanan. These outlets ARE fair and balanced. Fox Noise is completely unfair and mentally unbalanced.

No offense taken, Michael. As you know, we have much mutual respect and appreciation. We are NOT Ann Coulter and Keith Olberman...to each other (lol). BTW, do you remember Stan Freberg's "Dragon Net"? If so, do you remember the final exchange between the Dragon and Saint George? SG: Yeah, and I've also got you on a 4-12. D: (Loudly and over the top) A 4-12?? What's a 4-12!!!! SG: Overacting. Let's go. ;D

Can't afford cable, taxes you know. But I know what you're singing about. Great take on a great Dean Martin classic.

During the 2008 POTUS campaign, many pundits -- not on Fox -- called MSNBC "the Obama channel". Their reporters actually wore Obama campaign buttons on their lapels while doing "news' stories covering the campaign. So much for "independent journalism". (Sorry, Michael, that's a *fact*.)

SNL did a hilarious spoof of an MSNBC-hosted "debate" between Hillary and O, strongly rigged in the latter's favor. Hope you caught it. DKTOS, so I'll trust your pacing more than I'd trust MSNBC's news. 555.

Speaking of Mr. Pacholek, he's been having a very bad week here, hasn't he? In fact, a while back, John Jenkins noted that while the site was overall leftward for many years, most of those have given up, while only one remains, alone and forlorn, to defend against reality.....

Michael, as FG said yesterday, your dogged loyalty is quite noble. I'm sorry that you lost your entourage. I guess we need you as the sole remaining voice of the far left, so please don't give up, or the site would become as unbalanced as MSNBC. *Seriously*, not a slam - we need all POVs here, and yours is about the last of that kind remaining. Cheers.

"MSNBC reported today that the Tea Party is overwhelmingly white -- just like MSNBC."
