Original Song Title:

"That's Amore"

Original Performer:

Dean Martin

Parody Song Title:

"That's a Maury"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

His last name is Povich,
TV show and he's rich,
That's a Maury..

Overweight ethnic guest,
Seeks paternity test,
That's a Maury..

Swingers swing
Couples havin' flings
Dissin' wedding rings,
Grabbin' things
Like each others..
Families, too
Luke and Emmy Lou,
Pitch a lotta' woo,
Incest ain't taboo,
Sisters, Brothers..

Folks face fears that they've had,
"Is this woman my Dad?"
Crazy stories..
Husband sad and perplexed
Cuz' his wife's oversexed
Slutty, whore-ie

Bill's a veep
Hides a secret, deep
Kinky, likes to keep,
Shaggin' sheep
Just can't kick it...

Then there's Joe
Hails from Kokomo,
Pickin' up a ho
For her toe,
Loves to lick it..

If you're weird and you think
You should go see a shrink,
Not to worry..
Just phone this TV show
You'll wind up with big dough,
That's a Maury..

That's a Maury..

I live a clean, wholesome life. What would Maury say about that?

I am a fan of the Maury Povich Show, and I grew up watching it along with "Jenny Jones", "Sally Jesse Raphael", "Geraldo", "Donahue", and the all-time greatest tabloid TV show ever, "Jerry Springer". This parody sums up the best (some would say worst, but not you or I) of Maury in one great parody of a classic song. 5s.

Maury is so "amore"! I used to watch The Maury Show each morning. My fave episodes are out of control teens, paternity tests, people in love with their complete opposites, shocking news caught on tape, etc. I also enjoy those D West (motivational speaker) moments where he yells at teenagers and abusive husbands. Great show, AFW! 555!!!
