Parody Song Title:

"Pour Me Genessee"

Parody Written by:

Malcolm Higgins

The Lyrics

hey there bartender, can you pour me genessee?
I've got an empty glass, and I want number thirty three
I'm not a drinking driver, and I drink till I can't see
so please sir will you help me? pour me one more genessee

help me find the bathroom, to unload this genessee
I'll need about an hour to make my bladder not have pee
my home is where I should be, not here high like this you see,
but my paycheck has me able to buy lots of genessee

if I get arrested, will you bail me out again?
I don't think I could sleep off this whole beer thing in the can
but man I'm having fun tonight, and though you don't agree
there's really not a morning headache from this genessee

if I lose my way back to the bar please come find me
I have more money and I want to drink, you see
watch me drink my face off, man please pour me genessee

Shouldn't that be Hennesey (as in cognac)? :) Still, a good parody.

There is a drink called Genessee ale. It's not that good. Give Higgins credit for remembering Chuck Berry did it before Johnny Rivers.
