Booze is a depressant. It will make you forget for only a moment. Throw yourself into good works and your fortunes will improve. Writing parodies is a start.
Nice play on two meanings of "pissed", anger, and inebriation. Of course, once you've consumed enough liquid psychotherapy, a third definition will come into play.
