HOW WOULD YOU LIKE A TRIP TO SOUTH KOREA?

I always look for something new
For holidays abroad.
But normally it boils right down
To what we can afford.
We’ve done the Costa Brava
And to Cyprus we have been.
But now I think we might try something different.

Australia was an option
And the States had its appeal.
I looked at going to Canada
But couldn’t find a deal.
And then I had a brainwave,
To a place where no-one goes:
And certainly it’s somewhere very different.

So when I tell you where I’d like to go,
Just tell me, yes or no.

How would you like a trip to South Korea?
How would you fancy strutting it in Seoul?
Now would you dare to go to South Korea?
I must tell you this, I’ve now made this my goal.

Anywhere else I think would be quite boring;
Anywhere else we’d simply laze all day.
So tell me just what you think.
And then we can have a drink.
Please tell me that you’ll let me have my way.

If we go there we could find
If the locals really mind
That the armies in the North are on the go.
In the south they’re much more stable,
And apart from that, more able.
They’re a peaceful, loving people, don’t you know?

I would like to book a flight,
And we’d travel overnight.
When we get there we’d book in at our hotel.
It’s a challenge, that I know,
But I really want to go.
And you’re looking kind of worried, I can tell.
