WE'RE ALL STUCK IN LOCKDOWN TILL MID SUMMER
What can we do?
Where can we go?
The situation is not improving.

It doesn't matter what the weather does today,
The kids are stuck inside and can't go out to play.
I'd like to see my friends but they're all indoors too,
We're all stuck in lockdown till mid-Summer.

I tried to shop on-line but found the queue too long,
It's so frustrating but I know I must be strong,
There isn't any point in making further plans,
As we're all stuck in lockdown till mid-Summer.

I know my friends next door had planned a fortnight's cruise,
Attempts to get a refund came to nought.
And so instead they now take comfort in their booze,
They've gone through all the cases they had bought.

It's hard to see when all this mess will disappear,
Accept you're stuck at home as I am too back here.
There's nothing we can do, so help the NHS
And stay at home in lockdown till mid-Summer,
