The Lyrics

look out, Virginia, the weather's just great
go get the washing, don't make me wait,
sooner or later, the clothes'll look great
but only the good dry hung

well I looked at the label, it said drip to dry
the crappy old t-shirt said tumble on high
well I may be stupid, a dry cleaning guy,
and wash it, it must be done

but only the good dry hung
that's what I said
only the good dry hung
only the good dry hung

you might have heard that I wear such a wonderful tweed,
the hemp in my shirt means that I'm wearing weed
my pants are the stems, and I'm high from the seeds,
but that doesn't clean when hung

so come on Virginia,, clean up the grunge
cotton's okay but hang the St. Dunge
some dry with weather, and some's like a sponge
you might as well clean them ones

'cause only the good dry hung
that's what I said
only the good dry hung
only the good dry hung

you got a nice white shirt, and you wash it with concentration
you got some socks with holes, and some camisoles
but the washing up label gives you all the information
you gotta drip dry these,
some you tumble in the lau-n-dary
and they say there's a breeze will help them dry great,
some look crappy and some look great
I'll always drip dry designers, and dry clean the great,

I know that only the good dry hung
I tell you only the good dry hung
only the good dry hung

you said your mother told you
how to wash your clothes direction
but she never cared to see
did she dry another pair for me?

come out come out Virginia, the weather's just great
go get the washing, don't make me wait,
sooner or later, the clothes'll look great
I might as well clear the rungs,
for only the good dry hung
tell me baby
only the good dry hung

Hi, Malcolm! You know, I really liked this parody of my song, but the original was not from the sixties; furthermore, I didn't release any music then. If you are unsure of the time frame, you could either do your research or just put "misc" like you used to.
P.S.: I give this parody all fives cuz' it was good.

A clean and dry parody.

Hey, Billy! My name is Jeff. I'm a big fan of yours! In fact, I also parodied one of your songs, "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant". I'd be honored if you'd critique mine too. Incidentally, good job on this parody, Malcolm. I give it straight 4s.
