"Cup Of Tea"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

A nice cuppa always gets me awake first thing in the morning!
When i've woken up
And i'm half-asleep
And its time to get up and get ready
No I won't get up late, no I won't get up late
Just as long as I have, cup of tea

And wakey, wakey, cup of tea, oh make a cup of tea
cup of tea, cup of tea

If I hit the damn snooze button
should nod off again
And the caffeine should give me energy
I'll get up, I'll get up, no I won't laze about
Just as long as you make, me a tea

So make me, make me, cup of tea, A strong leaf tea
Strong leaf tea, lovely tea, cup of tea, yeah!

Whenever you are sleepy go and make a tea, oh now now make me tea
Oh make me tea, lovely tea, herbal tea

Make me, serve me, cup of tea, nice, strong tea
Oh cup of tea, some strong tea, nice hot tea

Simple original song, simple parody, yet effective. Surprised so few songs have any comments today, but I'll change that on this one as well. This OS gives you very little to work with, so good job at coming up with something that works. . .I know you don't like variations of chrouses and such, but this song is a great example why doing so allows much more comedy. One thing perhaps you might consider, partial variations, keep the title lines or key lines in each chorus and only vary part of the chorus, I do this on some of my own to keep a theme. I don't always vary choruses Jason, but the thing is you don't get the amount of return out of a joke the third time it's repeated, that's what varying choruses allows you to do. You know how to pace a song, and you are a decent writer, but I think if you were willing to challenge yourself, and just try it, you'd like the return. On this parody of a classic song that I personally really enjoy, you earned 5's from me, good luck Jason in your writing endeavors Jason

This song is definitely my cup of tea! This will really put a zing to your day! Take 5 Chamomile, 5 Darjeeling, and 5 Green Tea! Also take a bunch of dainty cakes to eat with it.
