Parody Song Title:

"Splurge Day"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

You say it’s your splurge day.
It’s my splurge day too, yeah!
Let’s play on our splurge day
and go to have a good time.
Go mad on our splurge day. . .
cash-spree splurge day—woo-hoo!

Yes, we’re gonna have a purchase party!
Yes, we’re gonna have a splurgin’ party!
Yes, we’re gonna have a purge-purse party!

I will empty my pants (splurge day)
of my dough, on romance (splurge day)
Splurge day—as I take a john stance.
Urge-lay stance.

After buying romance (splurge day)
I’ll put back on my pants (serge day).
Save a cent? Not a chance!
Splurge-day stance.

I wasted on splurge day
gelt, but it’s splurge day—woo-hoo!
I laid was on splurge day
and had myself a good time.
But. . .happened on urge day:
clappy splurge day—boo-hoo!
