Original Song Title:

"I'm Down"

Original Performer:

Beatles

Parody Song Title:

"Rhin Brown"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

I’m tellin’ lies—expected of me,
Won the prize: I’m elected, ya see.

Rhin Brown, I’m Schnozzy Brown,
I’m bound to soggy ground,
Inbound proboscis brown.
I’m a jackass, and I’m D.C.-bound.
Now I can lap when I’m on the ground.

Grabbed the ring, woman threw it away.
Here’s the thing; slacker Dems lost their way.

They’re down; they’re beaten down,
These clowns, after one round.
They’re down and reaping frowns.
Now I can laugh ’cause I know they’re down;
Now they can’t laugh ’with their grieving frowns.

I’m galling drone, but there’s somebody else
Must atone—lost it all by herself.

She’s down; I beat her down,
She’s out, clouted by lout,
She’s out, beat in short bout.
Down, she can’t laugh, ’cause I’m off to town
Housing the rats who’ll make my shnozz brown.

"Bashing" Barry at his best!

Sucks to be you, Dims! Please do keep pushing for ZeroCare, though... Watching an angry pitchfork mob frog-march all you genocidal traitors out for a tarring-and-feathering-and-riding-out-of-town-on-a-rail would REALLY make my day.

Mark: Thanks. Bashiness is next to godliness.

Ha: third-person singular conjugation of haber. In that vein: Chingue usted.

Phil: About the Mass. election yesterday.

Andria: Many thanks.

The more I find out about Scott Brown, the harder this result is to credit.. I guess the result is more about impatient voters wanting the impossible in an implausibly short time.

I had never even heard of Glen Beck until your parody some months back suggesting that he be lobotomized and/or drugged. I figured that if he scares the Left that much, there's something worth looking into. Found that he identifies, not as Rep/Dem, but uses "Libertarian" a lot, though not 100% there. I tend to agree with about 80-90% of what he says, and disagree with the rest. Thanks for turning me on to this crazy guy who wants to take us back to the principles on which the nation was founded.

So, do you wish to:

(a) Drug me?
(b) Lobotomize me? or
(c) Both?

The difference between Beck/TT and JB is that neither Beck nor I thinks that you should be drugged or lobotomized for exercising your right of free speech and political criticism; on the contrary, we'd fight to the death to defend, it, as many have.

Best line: Slacker Dems lost their way. Yep.

Would give this Fives for parodic quality, except that it consists only of ad hominem attacks. Genuine critique of Brown's positions and/or actions would have been appropriate, as was done to Coakley and the Dems in some other parody today. DKTOS, so had best abstain.

TT, you're right: I don't have ad hominemophobia. Remember this is a humor/parody site. Anything goes, short, of course, of what the editors nix.

This parody fits your JAB initials. Too much is put-down; I'll abstain. Scott definitely is not a RINO.
