The Lyrics

I've met this man and been in his home. He's actually a very nice guy.
When I bought this vid that featured Pammy
Saw a dude on my T.V.
Flashing his appendage
Tommy Lee
I wish that my home movies
Were as hugely complimentary
Puts his best foot forward
Tommy Lee

Tommy Lee, Tommy Lee
Tommy Lee, Tommy Lee
They should call him tripod
Tommy Lee

And while I watch this man with horror
Many tattoos I do see
'Cept on one large chunk of
Tommy Lee
And as he talks to Pam on cam'ra
One thought keeps invading me
"That's one big old hunk of
Tommy Lee"

Tommy Lee, Tommy Lee
Tommy Lee, Tommy Lee
Bought me drums to be like
Tommy Lee

And when this guy gets rowdy
He can steer a boat so easily
Powered like the horses
Tommy Lee
Always get the gorgeous women
And though different they agree
They find him fulfilling
Tommy Lee

Tommy Lee, Tommy Lee
Tommy Lee, Tommy Lee
He's the on-deck batter
Tommy Lee

Tommy Lee, Tommy Lee
Tommy Lee, Tommy Lee
Now he is a legend
Tommy Lee

This is funny, but I don't think I get it. Did Tommy Lee Jones used to do porno movies?
Kristof Robertson - June 16, 2005 - Report this comment
Not pornos as such, Will...just one very risque home movie with Pammy that got stolen and broadcast over the net...and where Tommy's....er....impressiveness was well on display....

Great idea. I bet you had to pull out the video and watch it a few more times to help inspire you?

Had I had the vid (I've never seen it, must be the only guy on the planet that hasn't) I would have pulled it out so that I could watch it with one eye while reading this with the other.

Like Leo, I have to say that the "best foot forward" line stood out..
Will (and Kristof) - it's not Tommy Lee Jones, the actor, it's Tommy Lee the drummer from Motley Crue (IIRC)
Michael Pacholek - June 17, 2005 - Report this comment
Ah, Tommy Lee. A "longshoreman"'s favorite rocker, though Iggy Pop is allegedly a serious contender. A drummer who gives a new meaning to the words "high hat." No doubt someone will work a rock opera "Tommy" joke in there. And to answer Bowling for Soup's question: Motley Crue became "classic rock" at the same moment all Eighties metal bands did: When Metallica got haircuts.
