Took a trip to calm my nerves.

Loudspeaker says, "Abandon ship!"
This sure has been a bad trip.
Hey, hey! PFD* is sure sopped, sure sopped,
Hey, hey! Feels like it's been used for a mop.
PFD's surely sopped,
Really big waves!

PFD's not buoyant,
What a damn annoyant!
I swim, on a buoy hunt--
A buoy!
I am "Ship ahoy!"ant now.
As I hug the buoy's front.

All others went down with the ship--
"Call me Ishmael," I quip.
Hey, hey, buoy sure flops, this buoy, boy! sure flops,
Hey, hey, I'm sure sopped I'm sure! sure!! sure!!! sopped.
The buoy's flopped and I'm sopped,
By the big waves.

At least the buoy's buoyant.
I think of a boy's aunt,
Calming nephew's toy rant:
