Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

This explains my rather large output today.
With the challenge, my efforts redoubled—
Challenge came from Johnny D:
Write a large number of parodies.
I'll burn oil in the darkness; as I toil, the challenge confronts me:
In one day, 23 parodies

Twenty-three parodies, 23 parodies.
That is sure a ton of parodies.

When people on amiright see all the songs bylined by JB,
I hope they will not get mad at me.
It's just a one-time stunt that I swear I'll never, ever repeat.
After that I won't post more than three.

More than three, more than three
More than three, not more than three.
Well, maybe, but never 23.

So now, I'm thinkin' how'd he come up with the number 23?
Suddenly the answer comes to me.
About a year ago, the month of December 2003
Johnny D posted a parody.
And this parody concerned numerical synchronicity.
Name of the parody: "23."

Twenty-three, 23, 23, yeah, 23.
Hoping you enjoy my 23.
