Original Song Title:

"Tomorrow Never Knows"

Original Performer:

Beatles

Parody Song Title:

"He's On Tomorrow's Show"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

He's got a mind for facts,
And out they stream.
He is still playing,
He is still playing.

All challengers
Surrender to the void.
Is he Satan,
Is he Satan?

You cannot beat this geek
With goofy grin.
Is he cheating,
Is he cheating?

He's loved by Al,
So says Dave Letterman.
Is it showing,
Is it showing?

His ignorant mates
Never get ahead.
Behind he leaves them,
Behind he leaves them.

And listen to the choler
As they scream.
They are livid,
They are livid.

He'll play the game
Of ask-questions till the end,
Then count his winnings. (6x)

An unusual song to parody, but well executed :-)

5's .....Sometimes I wonder if that dude is one of those folks born with a gift for E.S.P. or telepathy or clairvoyance or something....... maybe he's reading the minds of the authors of the questions' answers, or maybe he's remote-viewing the answer-database or something..... he's an X-File !

You didn't even mention the guy's name nor the show's name--and still we know. Great! "The Thing That Wouldn't Leave!" 4-5-5.

I'll take Single Digits for $1000, Alex! "The answer: John A. Barry got this rating for his latest parody." What is "5"?

Let me know when you've knocked off all the Beatle songs. Be interesting to compare. (Oh, the way they mocked, was way beyond compare...)
