Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Tribute to Andy Williams, who passed away at the age of 84.
Tune Giver, Andy was the man
No one was smoother than..he was
True dream weaver, song believer
When his music's flowing,
We're glowing because...

He took us - off on a moonbeam
As layback as he seemed to be..
No rafters need ring, not his thing
Mellow made him king
No one can ever sing Moon River, like he

Tune Giver, always in true form
His Christmas shows - so warm and bright
A song baker, and Star Maker
He gave us the Osmond's and guided them right

We'll miss him, though he's left this world
A legend in our world, he'll stay
Made no rafters ring, not his thing,
Mellow made him king,
No one will ever sing Moon River - that way

No one will ever sing Moon River - his way

Andy Williams - what was there not to love? If you ever watched Saturday Night Live at Christmas one of the skits they keep repeating is the Jensen Family Christmas where the lead singer is on a spinning platform that won't stop and you can guess what happened.

Thanks to JJ, Rob, and 2Eagle...yes, Andy was a classic original

Andy was dandy, not slicker or quicker. Just the right mood, AFW, for this tribute. And you put on a real "variety show" among the rhyming lines. 5s

Timely tribute to a great voice - a little too smooth for my taste but he sometimes hit the spot. 'Can't get used to losing you' was my fave.

SIr, L'Air de FARCE, I agree that he will indeed be missed; upon hearing of his demise, I had to log on here to read the tributes! He helped provide the muscial style of the Kennedy/Kamelot years.

LCC!...You're back!...Thank God, the rumors weren't true...that you were abducted by the Hershey Candy company, to sweeten their product, and cut back on the cost of sugar ..How ya' been?....and yes, I agree.. he recorded some great versions of songs from that great musical, "Camelot"
