The Lyrics

All those friendly folks phoning me, phoning me
Sometimes six a day phoning me
Kindly taking time, from their day, from their day
With news of my car warranty..

Bless them all for calling
I didn't realize..
That it was at risk
Guarn'tees go by so quickly
There's trouble with the clutch
Transmission whines..

And needs a shove,
Always needs a shove
It needs a shove to start..

In this hurried world, good to see, good to see
People really care, good to see
Before it expires, I must go, I must go
Back to the dealer I must go..

Bless those dears, they're special
I'll call them, and they will fix my clutch
And that awful whine..
The years go by so quickly
My Edsel needs so much
To ease my mind...

Won't need a shove,
It won't need a shove
Won't need a shove to start...

Funny idea here. To mention the Edsel was a nice touch. I can't remember if FORD stands for "found on road dead" of "fix or repair daily"
