Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Inspired by the belief blog of a major news station
The story starts when it was cold
and it was Christmas time
I had the decorations
everywhere I wanted them
He came along, got me alone and gave himself applause
He said that Jesus was just like Santa Claus

I never saw it comming, wouldn't have suspected it
Since I'm agnostic I'm surprised I even gave a wit.
He really was annoying beating that point like a drum
I understood, however partly, where he's comming from.

"It's not a fact and you don't know a thing."
He's an atheist-woah
He's better known from a crowd
of the angry and faithless-woah

Hope he's gonna find mocking other people's faiths
On a website might not make any sense.
He should keep in mind, he should keep in mind
There is nothing we face larger than our deaths

He looks at life like it's both serious and permanent
He looks at God like God's a trend and he's just over it
I think his ever present doubt is a little troubling
He think's I'm psycho cause I like to read religious things

The big here after isn't something anybody knows
But pushing people down won't get you where you want to go
Its up to you what you do or what you don't believe
It's not a faith if there was proof that there's a diety

"It's not a fact and you don't know a thing."
He's an atheist-woah
He's got a whole list of posts
that are scolding and tasteless-woah

Hope he's gonna find mocking other people's faiths
On a website might not make any sense.
He should keep in mind, he should keep in mind
There is nothing we face larger than our deaths

You're just another thing for him to roll his eyes at, honey
You might have faith but haven't you heard
You're just another thing for him to roll his eyes at, honey
You might have faith but he always gets the last word

Wooaah yeah

"It's not a fact and you don't know a thing."
He's an atheist-woah
He's started up a brigade
of the angry and faithless-woah

Bet he's gonna find mocking other people's faiths
On a website might not make any sense.
He should keep in mind, he should keep in mind
There is nothing we face larger than our deaths

Do you still feel like you know for certain?
Cause I don't think you do, oh
Do you still feel like you know for certain?
I don't think you do, I don't think you do

Lets hear the applause
C'mon show me how much better you are
Do you need some applause
Maybe just to spite you
I think this year I'll believe in Santa Claus

I've seen that belief blog, if it's the one I think and yes it is bizarre to try and proove a belief as beliefs are something that by nature exist sans proof. Funny stuff.
