The Lyrics

Part of my "Something to Believe In Supplemental" self-challenge. There's many aspects to drawing that can drive one nuts. In this case, it's going beyond "having the dude just stand there"...
Tryna draw some action but I'm feelin' like a bozo
Got a perfect startin' place, a whole lot of ref'rence photos
But when I'm not tracin' 'em, they look like Quasimodo
Wait, was that a low blow? It feels like a low blow
Ev'ry line I sketch is a complete and total stinker
I can draw 'em standin' straight but I can't give 'em vigour
Ev'ry picture blows, they really blow, suck at poses
Really suck at poses

Goin' crazy, come on, how'd I draw it wrong?
Followed the instructions, so how'd I draw it wrong?
It still came out like garbage, how'd I draw it wrong?
So crap, start from scratch, it's still really bad, throw pens at the wall
Too many times before, wastin' my paper
Is it so hard to draw 'em runnin'? Blows
More like by a tornado, they've been thrown

Sittin' down or flexin' strong, they all look sad and hopeless
Sure, it's just the sketch phase, but the failure is enormous
Tried for "happy jig", it's more like, more like rigor mortis
That's not what I wanted

This is crazy, come on, how'd I draw it wrong?
I know how the guidelines fit, how'd I draw it wrong?
My hands don't twitch, no shakin', how'd I draw it wrong?
Could splash ink on rats, have 'em trip then dash while they're high as balls
That would beat what I draw, a waste of paper

DeviantArt folders are so borin', can't upload, no
Ev'ry single character stands ram-rod straight, bad for promos
Anythin' but model sheets from me for now's a no-go
Scrap folder's a no-no, a gigantic no-no
If I put my shit up, the 'net will have me for dinner
I don't mean that lit'rally, still I'll go through the ringer
Because they'll all know, yes, they'll all know that my poses
Are poorly-drawn poses

Might go crazy, come on, how'd I draw it wrong?
It's just "move the arm a bit", how'd I draw it wrong?
How long can my brain take this, how'd I draw it wrong?
So bad is this crap, could take tips from hacks like Rob Liefeld, god
Can barely sketch at all, destroys good paper
But at least you can tell what kinda pose
He was aimin' for, for me, that's a no

Kneelin' down or punchin' hard, they all look crap and bogus
Practicin' for many years but the skill gap's enormous
Might shift into 3D, Poser, Poser, all that nonsense
Can't give up a project

So damn crazy, come on, how'd I draw it wrong?
It's just fleshin' out the sticks, how'd I draw it wrong?
I thought this time I'd make it, how'd I draw it wrong?
Still bad, worse than scrap, might burn it to ash, I'm so damn appalled
That I can't draw at all, waste of good paper

This is essentially my problem. Even when my main medium is "giant alien transforming robots", anytime it's not a character model reference shot, proportions get completely shot to shit.
