Tryna make a tiny shoebox world
I hope that no part up and falls
The diorama might look rather balls
Working at this scale is difficult
But in the end, I'd say it's worth all
The excruciating finger pain

Once or twice as school children, we
Had to make a real tiny scene
Replicate books that we had to read
Never lost that special feeling, buddy
Couldn't leave it for just preteens
Tryna make a grade over C
Not to smooth my past self's ego
I really don't know why so many folks think so (ooh)
It may seem like a chore, chore, chore (yeah)
Only fun to a bore, bore, bore (wow)
Got my joys, you have yours, yours, yours
I'm fine being a dork

I love making tiny shoebox worlds
Amazing action scenes, just small
My dioramas have contained them all
Listing them would be real difficult
From Batman to Skyrim to Redwall
And there'll be more once my finger strain
Finally decides to go away

I avoid using any toys
'Cause it will risk getting destroyed
Both from annoying-ass grabby kids
Who can read the "Keep Off" sign, they just ignore it
And from me 'cause I like to play
With my figures on random days
Other things I can use, you know
Depends how abstract a direction I could go (hoo)
Could be clay, shape it 'round, 'round, 'round (yeah)
Could be wood whittled down, down, down (wow)
Random things that I've found, found, found
Love them all now

They could be bigger, far less small
But dioramas, to me, means small walls
Know it would be far less difficult
With a larger workspace, a whole wall
No more cramps for my poor fingers, mate
I don't think you get why I create

I'm no museum, screw those walls
More dioramas in that space, my call
If some find that style less difficult
To see all the parts, it's not their fault
