Steel types are unaffected by Poison types, which is why Seviper (a Poison type) wouldn't do shit to a Scizor (a Bug/Steel type). And Captain Pants is abbreviated as CaptnPants because Pokémon nicknames can only be 10 characters. "Eeveelutions" is the fan nickname for the evolutions of Eevee (it's got seven...so far). The repeated use of "trippin' balls" is from this comic. A Rare Candy immediately levels up one of your 'mons.
