Fun fact: my cousin Gareth lost his spleen due to sudden-onset-truck syndrome. So I guess you can live without it.

While perusing a book of old patent medicine ads I often saw references to treatments for the spleen. You never hear about this organ anymore on TV. Maybe the human species has evolved to where people born after the early 1900's simply lack that particular organ. Just my theory. For the rest of my theories, see "On The Origin of Feces".
"Spleen" is a funny word but that seems to be the only meaning behind this parody. I mean you can look up information on that body part on Wikipedia if you really wanted to know more about it. You did for the "Spleen" what Weird Al did for the "Pancreas"
Well Matthias, Weird Al did explain everything you would want know about the Pancreas. I was hoping to learn more here about the Spleen,TCOP...but the fact you managed to make it still such an unknown body part over the course of this pop treacle earns you some sort of award
Weird Al's Pancreas was the first thing that came to mind here as well. I'm not sure anyone knows what the spleen does. Nice job.
