The Lyrics

My experiences with the Star Fox franchise, in American Idol form! Because shut up, that's why.
I've never bee-ee-een one for shoote-er games, man
Except for the-e-ese, the wars fought fo-or Lyla-at
Ho-ow that is, du-u-ude, I've no clue-ue at a-all
I get my fi-i-ill of shooting e-evil dudes
With lase-e-er gu-uns and smart bo-ombs that go boo-oo-oo-oom
I'll play for wee-ee-eeks
And only lea-eave to eat a snack or somethi-ing

When there's trouble brewing 'round
Who's the one they call to quash it do-o-o-own?
That would be Fo-ox McClou-ou-oud
On the floor I'm laying right do-own
Watching Gen'ral Pepper calling ou-ou-ou-out
He's calling Fo-ox McClou-ou-oud

Falco's a-a je-erk, you've gotta save hi-im though
Cause that wi-ill unlo-o-ock a diff'rent path to-o go
Bosses will su-u-uck if you don't sa-ave Slippy
All Peppy's good fo-o-or is that ince-essant me-e-e-eme

To be perfectly fair now
In this franchise, I've never branched ou-out
Just the one Fo-ox McClou-oud
Lylat Wars, that's all I've played no-ow
Star Fox 64 to you, I've fou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ound
Should try more Fo-ox McClou-oud

Adventures, Assault and Co-o-omma-and
Haven't even got the first o-o-one
The SNES o-o-o-o-one

Maybe I should try them out
But I've heard the gameplay's diff'rent no-o-o-ow
A diff'rent ki-ind of, kind of Fo-ox McClou-ou-ou-ou-ou-ou-oud

And I heard the reboot's out
Got a diff'rent control set-up no-ow (new arra-ay of butto-o-ons)
Controls for Fo-ox McClou-oud (buttons for Fo-ox McClou-ou-oud)
Why'd I even bring this up no-ow (why'd I even bring it u-up)?
I don't have the consoles for them no-ow (I don't have them at a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-all)
Wasted chorus, wo-ow (oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
Back to button-mashing now (smashing that A-button no-o-o-o-o-o-ow)
Making that Andross guy go kablo-ow (stupid mo-onkey Andro-o-o-o-o-o-oss)
Revenge for Ja-ames McClou-oud (that dead guy, Dad gu-u-uy)
Gonna check the settings quick no-ow (this'll only take a ti-i-i-i-i-ic)
See if I can mute that Slippy, o-ow (shut that fro-og up no-o-ow)
Worst part of this no-ow (no lie-ie-ie-ie)

One day might check the-e rest out
But I'm happy with the-e one game no-ow
I'll blow things u-up as, up a-as Fox McClou-oud

Seriously though, Slippy was an annoying little shit. I'm betting they gave him the role of bringing up the health meter for the bosses cause otherwise the players would just leave him to die. Though given how the bosses generally had a pattern of "shoot the flashing yellow bits", how necessary was the meter?
