Every Christmas morning every who down in Who-ville
Will go walkin outside and sing the same ol' Christmas carol
But the Grinch, Just a sinch North of Who-ville did not
Trashed the whole damn season every chance that he got

Now the Grinch he hated Christmas, yeah the whole Christmas season
Now please don't ask why 'cause no-one quite knows the reason
All the Who girls and boys
They rush to all their toys
He's sick of always hearing all the noise

He couldn't stand Christmas time
Because he was an outcast of their society
So he put on a disguise
And stole all of the presents and all the Christmas trees
And roast beast...

He only has a heart that's 2 sizes too small

He stands there on Christmas, just hating the Whos

Cause they all stand together with the Christmas bells ringing,
They'd all stand hand in hand and all those Whos would start singing,
He played a Grinchy trick, and dressed up like saint nick,
You know that old grinch was so smart and slick.

He couldn't stand Christmas time

Well he's a no good redneck mountain ass brat,
(packed sacks) "And I must stop this Christmas from coming"
Up the side of Mount Crumpit, to the tip-top to dump it,
"Pooh-pooh to the Whos!" he was grinch-ish-ly humming
And when they cry "Boo-Hoo!" (thats a noise I must hear)
And so the grinch paused, then he put a hand to his ear
Hadn't thought this before, didn't come from a store.
The Grinch realized that Christmas means a little bit more....

The Grinch had found that Christmas time
Was not about the toys and noise and the mistletoe wreaths
His heart grew back to size
He gave them back the presents and all the Christmas trees
And roast beast...
