Early morning,
I wake up.
Bark, bark, bark from downstairs.
It's time for breakfast,
walk 'cross town.
It's you that pug's waiting for.
They say "Isn't he precious, that little pug pup."

His name's Sparky. He's my dog
and he barks, barks, barks all damn day long, howling
at the moon when it comes out at night
but why won't he just sleep at night

Lost in a dog park,
I call his name,
but I do not see him anywhere.
So I keep on looking, and when I see him coming
I promise I will take better care
of him
