The Lyrics

Dinner with a friend gets a little heated...
I've got these pillars of flames burnin' in my head
I mistakenly thought I'd be saved by the rice bed
But thi-is curry, damn it, this curry
I'm glad that we're havin' this inside my house
Because I've got a lot of swears that I wanna let out
You may find this funny, but I sure friggin' don't
Cause I don't find burnt tastebuds to be that much of a joke
I do-on't

Now my tongue is in distress
It really hurts, my nerves, it's stressing
This curry really stings, damn curry, hate it
I'm not petty, won't blame you
Even though it's true, you were brewing
This hot-as-bugger thing, this curry really sti-ings

May be cliché to say that it's hotter than hell
But, man, it really does feel like my throat's gonna melt (no-o, no-o, no)
Thi-is curry, damn it, hate this curry
Was a foolish decision to push through to the end
After that first mouthful, I should've called it quits (ooh-ooh-ooh)
Wasn't like there was somethin' I had to prove (ooh)
Oh well, do you have a fi-ire extinguisher o-on you (ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh)?
Do you (ooh-ooh-ooh)?

Think I just made a huge mess
From flailin' my arms, I'm expressing
This curry really stings, friggin' curry, hate it
The one thing I want from you
Is a promise: don't be redoing
This recipe, it stinks, this curry really sti-i-ings
Hot, hot, hot, hot, hot
Hot, hot, hot, hot, hot
Hot, hot, hot, hot, hot
Damn curry, damn curry-y

You would think that what's been done has been done
I know the worst is yet to come (very worst i-is yet to co-ome)
Though talkin' 'bout it isn't real poli-ite
Let's say my mouth ho-ole's not all that's ali-ight
Oh-oh, ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh

I'm not one for food with zest
So why'd I give this crap a testing?
This curry really stings, da-amn curry, hate it
Eyes are runny, nose is too
Should know this mess is all your doing
Because you had to bring thi-is curry-y
So I take back what I said
I do blame you, your food's distressing
This curry really stings, your da-amn curry, hate it
Your plate's empty, how did you
Eat all that without needin' fluids?
Maybe you're used to it, this curry really sti-i-ings
Hot, hot, hot, hot, hot
Hot, hot, hot, hot, hot (no, no, no-o)
Hot, hot, hot, hot, hot
Damn curry, damn curry
Next time, dinner's what I choose
Let's hope there won't be any losing
Of tastebuds, because this damn curry really sti-ings

Didn't like it much

TBH, I don't think I've actually had curry. On the one hand, I'm not a fan of spiciness. On the other hand, my inner dork tells me that as a Red Dwarf fan, I'll have to try a vindaloo someday. Clearly this is a deep, inner turmoil raging within me.
