This parody is one of MadTV's most known music parodies, but I didn't quite get the lyrics when I saw the video. But reading it here I realized what it's all about and it's even funnier now.

It's very funny on mad tv however, most of the words are right but a lot aren't examples: Makin sense of you being sober should be : this makes no sense if you are sober Whatever, don't matter I can stir up pancake batter I can shake my derriere But it won't go, no where should be: Whatever, don't matter, I could sing about pancake batter I will shake my sezy ass and you won't go nowhere! The whole concept of the song is that it doesn't matter what she sings about, her fans only like her because of her physical appearence and how she shakes her ass.

Its funny but can u say plagerism(i hope u can say it cuz i cant spell it) ur suppesed 2 write your own parodies...not steal them from madTV...o well try 2 get creative k?

Do you think this is good? how could you like this shit? i mean, just look at it, it's not even fun. If you think this is fun, i think you're very wrong, you have to had a very little brain to like this kind of trash, how could you laugh at this? just look, it's even criticizing English-learners. I think it's pretty fun, just once, like most parodies. :-) Indeed, a big part of her fans probably only like her because of her shaking hips - but in my opinion her lyrics are pretty poetic and intelligent and original just because English is not her second language.. Shakira rules, not just because of her looks, or because of her songs, but because of the combination.

I find the parody extremely funny, however, I regard it apart from Shakira's original version. I don't see the point in mocking her because her mother tongue is not English (the Objection parody is even more cruel from this point of view), but the video itself is awesome in my opinion.

The lyrics aren't quite right here....Anyway, the song is alright but not something I find very funny.
