Song Parodies -> There's Some Fungus In There (Fridge Song)
| Original Song Title: | "It's a Jungle Out There" |
| Original Performer: | Randy Newman |
| Parody Song Title: | "There's Some Fungus In There (Fridge Song)" |
| Parody Written by: | Adagio |
There's some fungus in there
Old food and new food mixed up all in there
Some are bearing hair
Well, it grew
Oops, I'm in charge there.
There's some fungus in there
You open the door and see it breed
Do you know what's on that sausage on a link?
Well I do, and it's hair-raising.
Hubby thinks I'm crazy, 'cause I nit-pick all the time
You would pick those nits, well, if you saw them too
We better pay attention
Or that food we love so much...( might not thrill you)
You might be right now,.... (it just moves too slow)
There's some fungus in there
There's some fungus in there.
There's some fungus in there
There's some fungus in there.

there's stuff in our fridge that has been there since the clinton administration...like george carlin says..."could be meat..could be cake"...lovely job on this horrifying subject...5s
Thanks alvin! : )
Yuk! "Do you know what's on that sausage on a link?" Well, no, but I do know what's in that sausage on a link. I have had fungus in the fridge before- purposefully placed there- homegrown Shittake mushrooms a while back from a mail-order kit!
Thanks Jack! : ) (Were you asking why I wrote 'on' instead of 'in'? Because the fungus grows 'on' things.)
Ick! time to clean out that fridge. 555
We never clean the fridge. Occasionally we open the door and something runs out yelling "I'm free!" So it's self-cleaning. Funny stuff.
LOL~ That cute!
Hehe, all (that's funny, Rex )...thanks all!!
Hallelujah! I understood this! (I think) right before dinner might not've been the best time to read this
Thanks, Ethan. Yes, before dinner is definitely NOT the time to read this. : )
Pat, I don't know the Randy Newman number, but this one is a lot of fun...liked Rex's remark...,yeah, "self-cleaning"...but, hey, if you can find a mouldy bun to put it in the Hot Dog in there is probably not spoiled...too many preservatives for that to happen...
Wow, this is two in a row of yours that I've understood. Did I slip into an alternate universe or something? DKTOS (I keep meaning to get more into Randy Newman because I like pretty much everything I've heard of his), but I like "some are bearing hair."
Thanks Paul and Spaff. Now, Paul that is just TOO disgusting tp think of :) Spaff...maybe you've found the secret key (didn't know there was one, huh?)
