The Lyrics

You think you know what you're doing, then fate throws you a curveball...
Oh-oh-oh, oh, oh

At my mind's end, all of these tried cases
Oh yeah, I botched it now
They were not the right clues and not the right traces
Oh yeah, screwed that up now

I thought I'd clinched it, open-and-shut case
As each piece fell in place, it made me more bolder
I knew that I was smart, my hard work would be praised
All this evidence that's inside this folder
Will lock him up for good and I'll have it made
"He's the best detective ever" they'll say
But it seems I messed it up, the verdict's comin' down
And the guilty one is not who I claimed

Now I'm at my mind's end, first of these tried cases
Oh yeah, that I failed now
They were not the right clues and not the right traces
Oh yeah, messed that up now
And now ev'rybody knows, ev'rybody knows I'm a moron
Yeah, they hate me now
I said ev'rybody knows, ev'rybody knows I'm that moron
Yeah, who failed that now

Thought I had the villain, wasn't actin' nice
Wavin' pocket knives in ev'ryone's faces
To me, the path was clear that he had said knives
When he suddenly became all home-invasive
Seemed really plausible, witness heard falls
Of the very type of boot treads
That this fool's wearin' ev'ryday, he'll be locked away
Made sense inside my head

Guess not, I'm all at my mind's end, I've not had tried cases
Oh yeah, fail this hard now
They were not the right clues and not the right traces
Oh yeah, went so wrong now
And now ev'rybody knows, ev'rybody knows that I'm stupid
Yeah, I'm no good now
Sucks that ev'rybody knows, ev'rybody knows I'm so stupid
Yeah, it's no fun now

Oh

Seein' "Guilty" on my screen is a painful shock to me
I feel like I have no use
Isn't like it's my first game in the Ace Attorney range
I know what I'm doin', dude

At my mind's end, these Turnabout cases
Oh yeah, had them pegged down
I had all the right clues and all the right traces
Oh yeah, throw that all out
At my mind's end, these Turnabout cases
Oh yeah, first one failed now
They were not the right clues and not the right traces
Oh yeah, lost that one now
I said ev'rybody knows, ev'rybody knows how I'm useless
Yeah, blew that up now
I said ev'rybody knows, ev'rybody knows I'm so useless
Yeah, not that bad now

Yeah, I screwed up now
Yeah, feel so dumb now
Not the right clues, he-ey
Yeah, know better now
Not the right clues, he-ey
Yeah, I'll restart now

I've only experienced the Ace Attorney series through the Let's Plays of NintendoCapriSun, but I do know that even though you play as an attorney, you essentially act like a detective, so I stand by my usage of that term before the twist.
