The Lyrics

So, I have a snack attack
i'm running out the back
just took the cashiers brain
cause its kinda like my crack
i'll bite, your arm, dont mean you no alarm
but its a chance i'll have to take
because the cravings start to ache
you see i am not like you
don't eat the things you do
still like my veggies
give new meaning to headcheese
cow and pig don't get me zoomin
nothin satisfies me like the savoury taste of human

oh ain't nothing wrong with it
fry up a little bit
just acting like we're cannibals
the breast and calf you see
such a delicacy
just acting like we're cannibals

so come on baby dig in
dig in, just dig in
have a nother peice of him

now ya gotta cook it slow
gotta let the juices flow
benefit of eatng this
blood cell count is gonna grow
it tastes like deer
you ain't got nothing to fear
and when you bite into the steak
tastes so good brings you to tears
kun pow, or thai we don't see no reason why
if you've got adventurous tastes
then you should give it a try
and once, you try you never will go back
some might say that its more adicting than crack

oh ain't nothing wrong with it
fry up a little bit
just acting like we're cannibals
the breast and calf you see
such a delicacy
just acting like we're cannibals

so come on baby dig in
dig in, just dig in
have a nother peice of him

we were heading to the dump
went over a big bump
the girl beside me said
what is this big lump
the guy, our vic fell out and made a thud
thats when she started screaming
oh my god we're drinking blood
oh please, this, he's she starts opening the door
then a flicker in her eye's and she is asking me for more
i guess, she found what she was missing
and i've been trying to tell her
but i guess she wasn't listing
screaming

oh ain't nothing wrong with it
fry up a little bit
just acting like we're cannibals
the breast and calf you see
such a delicacy
just acting like we're cannibals

so come on baby dig in
we're just a couple cannibals
dig in just dig in

ain;t nothing wrong with it

have a nother peice of him
dig in just dig in

For only being the 2nd song that I've ever read by you I can tell already that you're making progress fast. There was some great wordplay and rhyming in this song already such as "give new meaning to headcheese" and as for rhyming "Kung Pow" was a fantastic sub for "By now". I also am a fan of your song selection.

(ABC) Hi Kevin, glad to meet ya. DKTOS (Don't know the original song), but I will give the benefit of the doubt that you paced well based on Matthias' comments. This was funny in a sick way (kinda like a horror-core rap or metal song). What could have made it better was variations in the chorus--we all love reading a new line each time. Sometimes its an artistic decision to change it every time, sometimes not, but it is often the cherry on the top of a good parody. Keep on writing...and reading others' works here will inspire you further in time, trust me.

(ABC) I agree with Agri's sentiments about the choruses. Also, the pacing seemed to stumble a fair bit in the verses, but then they're pretty fast. Keep up the good work, Kev!

ABC...having just submitted my own cannibal parody, I really dig this one, kevin...=) And I love Nickelback, too!

Hell of an OS you just took on there Kevin, the choruses kinda got boring, but good job on a cool original song. . .and props just for giving me something totally new to read! Great job working the title

Great rhyming and pacing to a tough to follow OS. Re: varying choruses, it would help a bit for a read, but it makes it harder to perform live (more lyrics to remember). I liked the topic. 5s.

ABC: Tough song! Very well done, I agree you're improving quickly!

(ABC) Not bad. Some laughs. 5-4-5.

Thanks guys and i'm taking your advice. i am planning on recording these but i am also going to change the choruses. These are usually my rough copies i dont really have time for going over them in time for the comps but yeah thanks again and i hope to be involved a lot more of these contests in the future

Make sure you post said recordings here as well, there is a quarterly contest called the "Performance of the Quarter" that is specifically for recorded parodies and performances, so you'll have one more contest that you'll qualify for, and you'll be among the small percentage of us who record our work, I think Spaff.com has the most recordings, he's got like 130, I've got right around 100 and after that I think Jim Rotondo, Rick Cormier and Jeff Reuben would round out the most recordings at between 30 and 50 a piece. Recording is fun, and most of us really appreciate recorded parodies and understand making a studio quality recording is near impossible for most of us, so I look forward to hearing this or any others you might record.
