The Lyrics

'Tis been a while, I'm not used to using my mums computer, and my computer is out for the count. This is an idea I've been working on on the back of my maths exams.
Bilbo's Eleventeenth birthday had come
Gandalf said that he was quite dumb
Dangerous ring he used for fun
Wizard Gandalf bestowed it upon me
With Sam, Pippin and Merry
We travel through Middle-earth

This ring is taking control of me
Why did I sign up for this little chore?
And now little bald freaks are stalking me
and I have no choice, I can't let it create a huge war

I try my best to keep my passions right
I hear it calling every night
Black KKK is on my hind
Saruman had betrayed Gandalf the Grey
Then we were left in dismay
When the Balrog whipped his tushions

This ring has taken control of me
It must go burn! To fires of Mordor
Elves, dwarves and humans have chosen me
'n' I have no choice, can't let it control me anymore

I'm just a hobbit kid
Nothing I ever did
Has ever made things alright
And why'd he send Pippin?
'n' Merry; he di'n think
I don't know what to do
But I know this ring will get us so screwed

This ring has taken control of me
It must go burn! To fires of Mordor!
Elves, dwarves and wizards have chosen me
'n' I have no choice, can't let it control me anymore

This ring is making a fool of me
Saved by an elf. I'm only her boobs tall
'n' her lumps are sitting in front of me
No complaints there, but I ain't gonna score

This bling's just not complimenting me
Make's me all gone, what would I need it for?
Bling's meant for all the ladies to see
'n' Why'd I want that? I want them to see me so much more
What did you think? I'm thinkin' maybe doing the trilogy, maybe as all Maroon 5 songs, maybe not.

SOTM - Not trying to discourage you from the challenge Charnstar but you wouldn't be the first to do a LotR triology to the same song or songs by the same artist. I don't know who did it first (Arwen? Adam E? Someone else?) so I'll just plug for my own newbie efforts in that area, you'll find them set to Bon Jovi's "Living on a prayer" on my page here on Amiright.

LOL! Shouldn't be suprised there. I'm doin' kinda the same with Spider-Man and almost nearly the same with The Legend of Zelda 3D games. I can always do Star Wars... LOL! Nah, I'm stickin' with LOTR, I got an idea of Osama Bin Laden references, may as well use them
Agrimorfee - December 11, 2006 - Report this comment
(SOTM) Yeah, not a terribly remarkable LotR-related song parody.

(SOTM) Well, I've been wanting to this OS for awhile but haven't come up with a good idea yet, this however had a good idea, done or not, it was a good parody to a good song

(SOTM) K1chyd, I was thinking the same thing (it was EmiLoca who did it originally) but, while certainly not taking away anything from Emi, I thought this one was way, way funnier. Who's to say you can't do that, or even improve on it? "I'm only her boobs tall" is classic! Not to mention it's a DEFINITE improvement on the OS. Nice job, Charnstar.

(SOTM) Luckily I actually watched the LotR movies the other week with my brothers, so now I know what this is on about! Well done!

Am I the only pedant here to spot that it was Bilbo's eleventy-first birthday? Thought so...
I liked the "only her boobs tall" line, too: reminded me of the LOTR diaries (if you haven't read those, let me know and I'll send you a link. They're Funny with a capital F)

(SOTM) LOTR to California funk-lite? Now THAT'S a novel idea! Extremely well done, Charny.....some really good LOL lines here. 555

(SOTM) Loved it again, and the boobs tall line, Lord Of the Rings:Fellowship Of the Boobs Tall Hobbit
Stuart McArthur - December 28, 2006 - Report this comment
(SOTM) I'm probably the most LOTR-challenged amirightian here because I know NOTHING about what you speak, Charnstar, so although I like your stuff, this one went way over my head - 555 on trust though

SOTM - I've never been too keen on Maroon 5 or anything based on their songs. Okay, I admit I did get some laughs out of this one. If you ever want to explore more in-depth about the hobbit invisibility thing though ... there's always that infamous Clay Aiken song...

I'll give you fives just for....

"Saved by an elf. I'm only her boobs tall
'n' her lumps are sitting in front of me"

Oh, this brings me back. I wouldn't be complaining either. Nice work with the chorus subs. I thought they were the strongest part of the parody. Also the line based on how the original sounded: 'Saruman had betrayed Gandalf the Grey'.

(SOTM) I'm going to have to echo Stu's comment, though I did like "Eleventeenth" and "boobs tall", as well as the smooth pacing. 5s.

(SOTM) This story rings a bell... Very well Orc-istrated.
