Parody Song Title:

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

My first parody in three months. Hope you like! Original Song:
What Backstreet Boys member am I?
What is the exact date I will die?
Do my best friends have something to hide?
Can't answer this when you're outside
(Log on!)- And then sit down
(Stay there!)- And look around
(Look now!)- There's an update
(Don't sleep!)- You could miss it

People keep writing on my wall
Stay online so I can read them all
Been a week, I’m still not leaving
Who knew this site was so addicting?

I'm on all night and day
I do not dare to go outside
Why I am such a Facebook addict

Oh, come on mom, one more minute
It’s only been a month since I logged in
I’ll do my homework later, or next week, but that I still doubt
And there’s no way I’ll study for my test

I only see my family
When they're on Facebook, just like me
My profile pic, oh so flattering
I spent three days taking the damned thing

I’ve got a failing grade
In class- that’s my status online
Why I am such a Facebook addict

Please poke me
Photo tag me
Request me
I’m always on here

No longer a want, it’s now a need
It’s the place where I learned to read
MySpace is the opposition
Facebook-ism is my religion

I’m on all night and day
And will be till the day I die
Why I am so addicted...

Glad you could tear yourself away from Fakebook long enough to write this parody. Good job.

Sorry but I could not follow the pace on any part except the "OMG IDK" section. Pretty good summation of the FB phenomenon (i just joined up a month ago, and if I am not careful, I could spend half a day there!)

What's facebook?

Just kidding! :-)

(Wild Card) Pretty catchy! DKTOS, but I love your take on a popular site, a popular band, a popular subject... and I'm glad I got your references. You have 555 friend requests!

I'll comment on this one when I am done with my farm, my cafe, my restaurant, my mafia, my wrestlers and my bejeweled. Hope you can wait 555 seconds while I do all that. Are you still waiting? It is real good. Oh wait, my cake is burning!

I'm getting the feeling that all my comments should be "what agri said" except I've been a facebook member for (gasp) 5 years now and it's amazing how much people use it now. On the flip side, for those who know how to take advantage (not me) the facebook culture seems really conducive to parody video sharing.

Not a member of Facebook, at least not intentionally they kinda have an auto thing with artists. . .but I have nothing to do with it. . .anyhow, interesting parody. . .cool title switch. Pacing seemed a tad rough, but love TOS

Loved this new Green Day song but something about this was iffy in my book... I do use Facebook but something just didn't sit right.

Good Facebook Parody. One of the complaints against Facebook users is they're always posting their "life story" every little bit of what they do throughout the day. Before one can fault the user they have to understand that people in charge of Facebook have enabled them to do it. Facebook parodies should get nothing less than a 4-4-4 in my opinion. There's another parody around here called I'M NOT YOUR (FACEBOOK) FRIEND. Great parody!

(ABC E & F) Not into social networking, but excellent parody. Someone would have to pay me a million bucks tax-free and give me a new Fiat 500 to goad me into joining any of these sites.

I don't know why Abbott, but on the second read, the pacing seemed to work better for me. . .I wish I could say why, but who cares, I enjoyed it more this time around than the first. Still not a Facebook Addict, but the use of OMG IDK in the parody was funny, and as a Green Day fanatic, its always nice to see a parody of them!

I agree with Dave, I'm not a Facebook addict, but I like Green Day and this parody. Creative rhymes. 555

(ABC-EF) Okay, this is officially the best Green Day parody I've ever read. Just...perfect. Here's 555 and about ten billion notices from Farcebook!
