The Lyrics

All discrimination is bad. . .and to the one-one-one and five-one-one chain voters. . .BRING IT ON, it's you that makes me know I'm getting somewhere
I've seen the white clad sheets
They're scary when they come out on the street
Don't know where they go
But my best friend hopes they're going home

I saw them beat a gal
On a Boulevard of Racist Scream
On the grass she wept
and I'm the only one who held her hand

I held her hand
I held her hand

I held her hand
I held it

Her shadow looks the same as anybody's
It's shallow freaks who'd beat up a human being
Sometimes I wish someone could explain to me
Why color matters oh

Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Aaah-ah,
Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Ah-ah

I may have been born white
Life is beauty wether men or mice
Why did Martin die?
Had a dream, his vision's far from done

Look into the eyes
Bleed the same and nothing is alright
Check your vital signs
To know we're all the same and we'll walk you home

We'll walk you home
We'll walk you home

We'll walk you home
We'll walk you. . .

Westboro church* advocates the death of many
Their shallow hearts are dark and lord would not endore thee
Someday, they'll see they are wrong to hate fellow men
'Til then we'll drown them out

Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Aaah-ah
Ah-ah, Ah-ah

We'll drown them out
We'll drown out. . .

Black, white or Asian
On a Boulevard of Racist screams
Open up my door
and you are all as human just as me

our vision is to live our lives as equals
The hollow souls of those who hate is chillin'
Sometimes I wish the lord would come and fix this
'Til then I'll hold you hand. . .
*Westboro baptist church is the church of about 70 to 80 people led by Fred Phelps that is known for volatile slogans being used at fallen soldiers funerals and protesting such tragedies. They say America deserved 9-11, Columbine, The shooting in Virginia, the Amish Girls School Tragedy, among other horrific thing. We are all entitled to our own opinions. . .so here is mine. . .it's time someone protested them. They are wrong to hate so many people and to do so in the name of God. . .but another parody another day.

The Boulevard of Racist Screams? We can name it Don Imus Place. No doubt intersecting with Ann Coulter Terrace. Is there a single member of that Topeka church that isn't either Fred Phelps, his wife, or one of their chlidren or grandchildren? I know he's got 11 kids, all of whom have (ahem) been fruitful and multiplied. Guess he doesn't think overpopulation is a moral problem. Not to mention frivolous lawsuits, as he (disbarred) and several of his children are lawyers who challenge civil-rights laws.

Very deep, and I agree with you whole heartily on the sentiment at the end. People like that choose to blame other's for their own mis-doings and that is not only immature, but can get people like us hurt, or killed.

There's a Bi Voice now? Don't worry, I treat bisexuals with the same respect as homosexuals, and there's room for those as well as straight people in the Republicrat Party. Now hear this: If I become president, anyone convicted of a hate crime such as what you describe WILL BE EXECUTED. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! As for the Westboro Church, I'm adding them to my list of targets that I'm gonna airstrike the crap outta.

Oh no, Dylan, don't persecute someone for their beliefs or emotional state! If someone beats someone up, they are guilty of assault, not of assault of a gay man! That's insulting! What if they beat him up because they didn't like his hat? Is that somehow a lesser crime? Oh no, dear -- stay away from motivations, and just deal with the act!

Thought provoking stuff, GV...and I can see by your set of 1s that some neanderthal has had his one brain cell offended by your parody. 555

Beautifully written - I know what you mean, in that at times I wish I knew why the colour of someone's skin (or their sexual preferences, for that matter) matters so much to some people...
Dylan Baranski - May 22, 2007 - Report this comment
Well, if it can be proven that they beat up the guy on a count of dislike for hat, then they get a lower sentence. Otherwise, they dead, man.

Hey, Gay Voice, I had an idea: You should write a parody of Dschinghis Khan's song "Moskau" called "Moscone", about San Francisco mayor George Moscone, known for being an early proponent of gay rights, and appointing many gays & lesbians to city commissions and advisory boards. There's only a couple of problems with this idea: 1. You most likely have never heard of Dschinghis Khan & the song "Moskau", and 2. Moscone has 3 syllables in it (pronounced Mos-cone-ee). If you want to know wh Dschinghis Khan is, here goes: Dschinghis Khan is a German band known for singing about exotic and/or historic locations & people. They were popular in Europe, Asia, & Australia, but were unknown in the U.S.A. until someone uploaded a video of their song "Moskau" on the internet, where they became a major internet phenomenon. Just look up "Moskau" on Google Video or Youtube. I've also done most of the Dschinghis Khan parodies that you may encounter here. Who's the cross burners that massed voted 1s on this?
Dylan Baranski - May 23, 2007 - Report this comment
It's probably the Ku Klux Klan who voted 1s. On another Republicrat Party-related note: Being that the Democrats are represented by the color blue, and the Republicans are red, the Republicrats shall be represented by the color purple, because purple is a mix of red & blue, just as the Republicrats are a mix of Republicans & Democrats.

Thank you all for your support. . .I know parodies are usually meant to be funny. . .but it's an art as all of you know. . .and I figure I can use my ability for good use. . .afterall--you guys are hilarious. . .thank you so much, and I will continue to contribute parodies fighting intolerance, discrimination and hate, no matter how many people out there 111 me. . . .it only shows how much such parodies are needed. . . .thank you for the 5's though, after my first 4 parodies, it's nice to see that my visions aren't only mine, in fact from the looks of it, no one who commented are among the chain voters (or probably one guy who likes to erase cookies) . . .so thank you all again. . .
