Original Song Title:

"Boulevard of Broken Dreams"

Original Performer:

Green Day

Parody Song Title:

"Im Jacques Clouseau"

Parody Written by:

Jack Wilson

The Lyrics

The new Pink Panther theme,EAT YOUR HEART OUT, MANCINI! Oh and the title is inspired by Matthias's Jacques COUSTEAU parody!
I walk the Paris roads
Wearing a dark hat and trenchcoat
Also disguises
Cause Im inspecting and Jacques Clouseau

Im looking for a theif
That stole the panther diamond that is pink
But that's two movies
But in the other ones and Im just Clouseau

Im Jacques Clouseau
Im Jacques Clouseau

IM Jacques Clouseau
Inspector

Inspector Dreyfuss wants to hit and kill me
My assistant Cato and I do karate
Im dressed like Quasimodo in one movie
'Til then I walk alone
Because Im Jacques Clouseau
Oh oh, oh no, LOOK OUT! CATO!

Im trackin pink panthers
Then Im breakin Steinways all the time
Hey does your dog bite?
Oh that's not your dog so he did bite

My room's Japanese now?
That's screwed up, Ill smack Cato's behind
Inspector Dreyfuss guy
Wants to only kill me , Jacques Clouseau

Im Jacques Clouseau
IM Jacques Clouseau
Im Jacques Clouseau
Inspector

My accent's weird cause I am from France, you see?
"This is Inspector Clouseau on the pheun now"
I put Inspector Dreyfuss in the psych ward
Hey, man Im JACQUES CLOUSEAU!

LOOK OUT! BEHIND! ME! ITS! DREYFUSS!
AAAAAAA-AH! AAAAAAAAA-AH!

Accident prone
Inspector

*quitar solo as different lines form the movies are heard *

Peter Sellers played me
In seven of the Pink Panther movies,
And Steve Martin did in the new one

There's been ten Pink Panther movies ,not thirteen
There were two that did not seem to include me
Once again, Ill for sure look for the diamond
INSPECTOR JACQUES CLOUSEAU

*ending guitar solo has more lines are heard*
2006 Jack Wilson

Good to see you around again, Jack...I don't know any Green Day songs so I can't vote, but this is an amusing read. Hope it gets some attention here for you.

(ABC3) This is another one, Jack, that just falls short of excellent. You are good with the ideas, the excution still is weak. ("The Pink Panther Strikes Again" is my fave in the series--"That's a priceless Steinway!" "Nit eneemeuh!" :D

ABC...holy cow! When I first clicked on this, I read the title to be "I'm Jacques Cousteau." Needless to say, I was a little confused for a verse or two...; ) Oh well, once I figured out that I'm a little bit illiterate, it all came together for me. Nice work, Jacques...I mean, Jack!
Jack Wilson - October 26, 2006 - Report this comment
LOL Arwen thanks! Funny you , mention that cause Matthias's Jacuqes Cousteau parody of the same song, inspired the title
