The Lyrics

Just trying to capitalize on the recent trend of monopoly parodies

I am the king of Monopoly
You'll concede all your properties
It's an uncommon anomaly
When I do not win at Monopoly

You passed up Baltic and the one before
I got them when I could
And will not need anymore
Park Place's amount
Of rent is thirty five
Bucks but Baltic's
Four hundred
Fifty bucks rent each time

I am the king of Monopoly
You'll concede all your properties
It's an uncommon anomaly
When I do not win at Monopoly
Scattered 'cross the board
Are my three foes' properties
I can well afford
To land anywhere
No risk of bankruptcy

Oh no, you guys
Finished up a trade
Now there can be houses both on Boardwalk and Park Place
Two times in a row, My piece was on green
With four houses
And the rent
Caused my bankruptcy

I have been beat at Monopoly
I was not thinking properly
Now I will not play so cockily
Cause I wanna win at Monopoly

Last night I was playing Monopoly with two of my friends (why, I dont know lol), and even though I had Park Place and Boardwalk (and 3 houses on both) and all the greens (and 1 house on them) and both Ultilities, I still lost....good job though

Good parody. How can Billy blow a setup like that? His Monopoly partner must be Armando Benitez.

i got monopoly for my computer a couple of weeks ago (it was 8 dollars) and this afternoon i played it and used the strategy that i talked about in this song. It actually would have probably worked except, in a 6 player game, the same guy landed on park place an boardwalk. And that guy never landed on my properties until the end. So, if i actually got around to finishing the game, he would've won.

I have been looking for a parody to do off of this song. But you completely made me change my mind. Nothing else can beat this original title! Very good, parody!

This year is Monopoly's 70th Anniversary! (Parker Brothers patented the game in 1935.)
