The Lyrics
This parody takes place two weeks after the previous parody, "The Rewind." The main character, St. Snicky, has flown to New York to have a meeting with Nickelodeon executives about the current state of their network. St. Snicky is the personification of classic Nickelodeon as a whole, not just the SNICK portion of it. I didn't want to call him any variation of St. Nick, because I don't want a cease and desist from the Jolly One. As for the (mostly obscure) references: Michael Bower played Donkey Lips on Salute Your Shorts. Filbert, Heffer, and Rocko are characters on Rocko's Modern Life. "Blah-de-blah-de-blah" comes from the Ask Ashley sketch on All That. Kevin Kopelow was a writer, and played the stage manager, on the original All That. Kenan Thompson and Josh Server were castmembers on All That; Kenan is now on SNL and Josh was the longest-serving player on the former. Stick Stickly was the host of Nick in the Afternoon. Ickis and Krumm are two characters no Aaahhh! Real Monsters. Rewind is a reference to the Nick Rewind collection. And the big orange couch was a fixture on SNICK in the 1990s; it was retired in 2000 as part of Nick's 21st birthday.

(SOTM) Most of the name references were lost on me here too - it's been years since I watched Nickelodeon. I have to say that while this was good, I'm surprised you didn't enter "Induct Van Halen Right Now", which was one of the most creative and funny parodies I read in March. Great pacing on a fairly tough OS. 545.

Having never seen anything of or by Nickelodeon, I'm afraid all of this went straight over my head.
