The Lyrics

MIDI (scroll down to the CD "A Day Without Rain")AMAZON SAMPLELYRICS
Monsters- in- the- tall grass
Look out for them
Think- that- they- can see
Where we have been hiding?
Think- they- will discover
How we take flight
And- we- always- hide from you?

Kite- balloon- is lazy
Always floating.
All- they- hear is sounds
Growing close(r) and grim.
They- have- heard- those stories
Told by others.
Seems they're coming true.

~instrumental~

Shiver- from- more fe--ars
Under cover
Close- to chums.
Someone's gras-ping my hand
Withered- little- gnome guys
Wonder rover?
Gory-lit-tle-one just chews.

~instrumental~

Some- feel- fear- turn ashen
Some feel wisdom
Some-they-feel-all of
But the way they feel them
Drifting- like flakes
For a reason
Mon-sters- coming after you.
Mon-sters- coming after you.

(ya ya ya ya ya ya ya, ya ya ya ya ya ya ya, ya ya ya ya ya ya ya, ya ya ya ya ya ya ya)

Hiding- in- the- tall grass
They might find her
This- is- not- the game
That we thought it was
This- will- be- the day wee
ones dismember.
Then I saw a heart
it's
lying- in- the- tall grass
Right beside her
Wim-per-ing it was
Once a safe li'l neat gem
Dying- in- the- tall grass
What a sad sight
They- believe- it's bad luck
'Cause from all around them
Wafting secrets
Telling them all of
Myst'ry's- way- of breeze
and
Looking- with- your- eyes oft
Will not tell how
They- can- just- feel why
it's true
They- know- that- it's oh
so true
Things- they- never knew
That- the- sky- might- not be blue.

Pat, this is the piece you mentioned to me a few days ago, right? I'll have to try and d/l it home later (the midi)...I really can't do it here, if I brought any "stuff" into the Server's (virus or whatever) I'd be in deep doo-doo...later...

it was very bizarre hearing the cool sounds of Enya converted to MIDI, Pat - and hard to follow too, but I loved the spookiness of this - 555

Thanks Paul and Stu.

I d/l TOS (not the MIDI or lyrics), very pretty OS - hard to do well too as Enya's voice 'trails off" at the end of many lines, but great pacing and parody. 5s. PS- The "yas" part sounds a bit like the intro from Kiss By A Rose by Seal.
