The Lyrics

this is only for the teens
I want everything on TV to be uncensored, so people will be happy
A whole lot more and other stuff to just only see

Teens will totally do awesome stuff that will be cool
This really will happen to me and you

Nothing will stop teens from doing stuff that will be cool
And, they even will get naked, and make out in the pool

I want things to change, and I don't want them to be the same
And, I really wanna say that adults are the one to blame

God, please change the world, so teens can do anything
I know they gotta make it on their own

Nothing will stay the same, the world has got to change
And, it will happen tonight

God, please change the world

Girls will go crazy and guys will do the same, we know it's true
We love to party, and they agree with me too

We need to free our minds, so that our lives will be even better
We can even party in different kinds of weather

I want no more rain, no more thunder, so it'll get the job done
When the sun is really shining, we can make all of us one

We will say lots of bad language, and even say what we wanna say
Nothing will prevent us, we're here to stay

God, please change the world, so teens can do anything
I know they gotta make it on their own

Nothing will stay the same, the world has got to change
And, it will happen tonight

God, please change the world

I know we gotta make it right, it's going to happen tonight
To just really get the feeling right

There's nothing that we can't do, it's happening to me and you
To let you know, it's really true

God, please change the world, so teens can do anything
I know they gotta make it on their own

Nothing will stay the same, the world has got to change
And, it will happen tonight

God, please change the world, so teens can do anything
I know they gotta make it on their own

Nothing will stay the same, the world has got to change
And, it will happen tonight

God, please change the world

I'm sorry, Cameron, but I don't think every teenager believes this way.

To be 100% honest, I think that I understand what you mean. Until I was 21, I felt like I was treated like a child, and in most other cultures, 15 and 16 are the age of adulthood .. .it will get better, I promise, just give it time

As soon as you move out of the house, start paying all your own bills, do all your own laundry, and start taking all the consequences of your own stupid mistakes on yourself, you can do all that stuff you want to do and more. That's what those teens in those other cultures do, you know. Feel free to go look for a job at any time.
