I thought about
Why I got D's on test
Wasn't because
I didn't do my best
but it got me no where
complaining about my bad grades

And that's about the time i got my a.d.d.
I always knew there was something wrong with me
Heard about a.d.d. on tv shows
but no one could relate to me
My friends admit there always wonderin

Later on
During the school day
I noticed I
was acting okay
The drugs they did kick in
I was so well aware
So then I shouted "Thank you drugs"

And thats the only time drugs like that worked for me
I knew for a fact that ritalin was the key
Yet i still act up in class sometimes
And teachers get mad at me
So then it's likely that they will ask:
"Wheres your ritalin?"
"Where's your ritalin?"

And that's the only time that I am not crazy
I'm usually always hyper or lazy
And I still act like sometimes it isn't clear:
What the hell is wrong with me?
My friends say I'm full of rage

Where's my ritalin?

And that's about the time drugs like that worked for me
I never took a.d.d. so seriously
With many years to go with these drugs
Will they always work for me?
If they dont then then we'll see...but
