The Ad-Libs', "The Boy From New York City"
The Lyrics:
Oo ah oo ah oo oo
Kitty Tell us about the boy from New York City
Oo ah oo ah come on
Kitty Tell us about the boy from New York City
Why:
A 1965 one-hit wonder from the Ad-Libs that went into the Top Ten, "The Boy From New York City" kept repeating about New York City. It was later remade in 1981 by the Manhattan Transfer who also had a top ten smash hit with the song.
