As a "Tom and Jerry" fan (where this song was played on "Solid Serenade") Tom serenades his lady cat with this song who's voiced by Ira Woods...yes Tom Cat HAD a voice in this cartoon! The appropriate title should be "Are you are aren't you my baby"?
