Original Lyrics:
He's bangin' on the bongos like a chimpanzee
There needs to be a website that lists the many songs where the artist expects you to hear a particular word, but sings something different. This is an example where Knopfler sings 'chimpy', but the lyrics say 'chimpanzee'. The song is also a little confusing because Knopfler sings "That ain't workin'", which is normally understood as "That method is a failure" when in fact he means "That is an example of work being great fun".
